A Celebration Of Swiss Watchmaking Heritage

The Hölstein Edition 2025 is the sixth release in the annual limited-edition series from Swiss watchmaker Oris, that commemorates the brand’s founding.

Limited to just 250 pieces, this year’s model is a bold, monochromatic take on the iconic ProPilot, featuring a full-lume dial and a hidden surprise with a sense of fun: the beloved Oris Bear glowing in silhouette.

The Hölstein Edition 2025, which takes its name from the village in which Oris was established in 1904, reflects the company’s enduring commitment to mechanical excellence, independent watchmaking – it’s one of the few remaining independent manufacturers – and a signature sense of joy.

Reflecting on the release and the sense of heritage it reflects, Oris Co-CEO Rolf Studer said: “There’s just no place like home. We make these watches not because we have to, but because they bring us and our community genuine happiness.”

The 41mm stainless steel case is coated in black DLC and houses a full Super-LumiNova dial that glows green in the dark. The Oris Bear appears in silhouette between three and four o’clock. Like its predecessors, the watch omits a date window, making it a pure collector’s piece. Inside beats the in-house Calibre 400, offering a five-day power reserve, elevated anti-magnetism, a 10-year warranty and recommended 10-year service intervals.

Each of the 250 pieces is individually numbered and finished with a transparent case back, a Super-LumiNova ring and the engraving: Hölstein Edition 2025.

A tribute to heritage and joy in equal measure, this is a watch that follows feelings not rules.
