Berluti has re-edited its Alto shoe line with two models and one fresh style for Fall-Winter 2024.
Originally introduced in the Fall-Winter 2022 collection, Alto takes its inspiration from the Maison’s most iconic shoes: Alessandro and Andy.
Berluti’s very first piece, the Alessandro Oxford was created in 1895, and has since been crafted from a single piece of leather without any visible seams.
A favourite among the Maison’s clients, it was joined in 1962 by the Andy loafer, especially commissioned by American artist Andy Warhol.
Alto is a versatile variation on both styles, completing their signature Demesure Neo with a thick, lugged out sole. Made of rubber and entirely covered in Venezia leather, it stands out as a bold expression of Berluti’s technical expertise.
A classic yet rich Marrone Intenso patina and hand-stitched details on the loafers complete the line, creating a hybrid formal-to-informal look.
Two different shoes are featured.
Smooth and streamlined, the Alessandro lace-up is synonymous with craftsmanship: with no visible seams, it showcases the patina optimally.
Modern and daring, the Andy loafer is defined by proportion play and a distinctive 3D strap achieved through a high frequency volume-moulding technique, uniquely blending artisanship and technological innovation.
TheAlto line is now available in Berluti stores worldwide. For more information, please visit www.berluti.com
