European decadence and American sleekness join in Tom Ford’s Resort 2026 collection, highlighting individuality with a penchant for seduction.
Describing the release, Creative Director Haider Ackermann says: “Plein soleil life, now, suggests a feeling of cosmopolitan elegance. Wandering and global travelling imbue an attitude that is both assured and careless, an individual way of being and getting dressed, a spontaneity that takes away rather than adding, a penchant for unexpected pairings.”
The blacks, whites and neutrals, that are so defining of the house, are, as always, in evidence, complemented by pops of bright colour, from buttery yellow and baby blue to a bright crimson bomber coupled with clashing fuchsia.
Sharp suiting, once again, evokes the Wolf of Wallstreet vibe of the Colombian’s first Tom Ford collection. Front pleated, tapered trousers elongate the form while double-breasted jackets paired with tonal ties impart an air of classic confidence.

For more everyday wear, tonal jackets in sand and khaki meet trenches and shorts, all in comfortable, yet stylish cuts making a statement of quiet, understated elegance.
Romance also plays a part with a sumptuous, midnight blue velvet ensemble and the liberal use of cravats, harking back to a more decadent age.
Texture is found both in the use of colour and fabrics, such as denim on denim, alongside shimmering silky satins, with double pick-stitched lapels displaying the opulence of hand finishing.
Fluid silhouettes are draped in luxuriant wools, silks and mellow, soft leathers while accessories add the finishing touch with jewel-bright velvet slippers in sumptuous upholstery fabrics and capacious bags adding to the wanderer aesthetic.
