Named Movimento Delle Idee – or Movement of Ideas – this season’s men’s collection from Peserico is inspired by Italian motor racing icon Tazio Nuvolari.
Competing in the 1920s and ‘30s, an era of uncertain and heroic driving, the ‘Nuvola’ – as he was known – repeatedly flouted human limits, adapting to changing track conditions and taking risks in pursuit of greatness.
That same boldness is seen from Peserico combining sophisticated knitwear in cotton, linen and silk with the consistency of three-dimensional weaves and brick stitch, contrasted in turn with the softness of terry cloth and the dynamism of micromesh.
The technology of waterproof and windproof fabrics is seamlessly integrated into varsity jackets, parkas and overshirts and Saharan jackets in waterproofed faded linen.

Loro Piana fabrics express the most sartorial part of the collection, which also includes pinstripe or linens in the semi-lined suits with a dynamic, effortlessly chic mood.
The colour palette, dominated by shades of blue, gives body and depth to the whole: the shades Saline, Avio, Celeste and Baia fade into the most austere nuances of Space Blue and Abyss. In contrast, beiges: Quartz Sand, Dunes and Dirt Roads lead to an intense tobacco brown. Nature also emerges, but with desaturated colours: Mediterranean Scrub Green, Powder Pink, Wheat and Clay, with hints of Cement, Steel and Lunar gray, refreshed by the whites of Cloud and Light.
This collection is flawless, methodical and classical with a side of up-to-date innovation.
