The Ultimate Adventure

For those who dream of sailing to far horizons but can’t commit to a round-the-world trip, Britain’s Oyster Yachts now offers the chance to join a shorter leg of its iconic Oyster World Rally.

For those in the know, it comes as little surprise that globally, adventure tourism is forecast to surge to almost USD2 trillion by 2032. Rather than traditional luxury getaways, high-end travellers now seek meaningful, adventurous experiences. Oyster Yachts, builder of the world’s finest luxury bluewater sailing yachts, has decided to answer the call. The company is known for its sold-out, bi-annual Oyster World Rally, an exclusive 16-month circumnavigation for Oyster owners covering 27,000 nautical miles and 27 stopovers in the world’s most remote and beautiful locations. The 2026 edition sets sail from Antigua in January.

But, mindful that not everyone can take a year and a half out of often busy schedules, Richard Hadida, the company’s owner and chairman, has launched the Oyster Explorers Club Rallies. Part of the newly launched Oyster Explorers Club, this innovative series of fully-supported sailing voyages invites modern sailors to experience the thrill of bluewater adventure in a way that fits their lifestyle.

Whether participants are drawn to Arctic glaciers, sun-drenched Pacific atolls or the raw drama of Cape Horn, the Oyster Explorers Club Rallies offer a taste of the Oyster life without the 16-month commitment of a global circumnavigation.

These new rally routes are curated, shorter and more flexible adventures, ranging from four to 12 months, that capture the spirit of discovery, shared experiences and skilful seamanship that Oyster is known for, but in a way that fits more easily into busy lives.

Designed for those who seek more than just a sailing holiday, each rally is a curated adventure, blending exhilarating offshore passages with immersive cultural encounters, breathtaking anchorages and curated social experiences in extraordinary locations around the world, many accessible only by boat.

From the rugged beauty of Norway’s fjords to the remote islands of Polynesia, every journey is underpinned by Oyster’s signature ethos of quality, community and discovery.

Owners sail in the company of a like-minded fleet, supported every nautical mile by Oyster’s expert team – something that’s not offered by any other manufacturer at this level. Oyster has even brought on a new team member dedicated solely to booking offshore excursions for owners – everything from safaris to guided hikes to cooking lessons with locals. With logistics, route planning and technical support taken care of, all that’s left is the freedom to explore.

New Rally Routes Include:

Arctic Rally – Journey through Norway’s fjords and sail north to the Svalbard archipelago on a four-month Arctic sailing adventure.

Viking Rally – Explore the untouched landscapes of the North Atlantic.

Pacific Rally – Sail through the Pacific’s most captivating destinations.

Cape Horn Rally Embark on a bucket-list 12-month circumnavigation around the iconic southern capes.

Richard Hadida, the British tech entrepreneur and founder of Evolution Gaming Group, will be joining the 2026 rally. He says: “The Oyster World Rally is one of the most meaningful things we do. In fact, my wife Ali, our toddler Harry and I will be taking part in the next rally ourselves. It’s not just about sailing around the world, it’s about doing it together.

“It’s been my life’s dream to sail around the world and see every inch pass by. I’ve probably done enough airmiles to reach the moon and back, but whilst I’ve been all over the world, to get the context mile by mile as I sail quietly and consistently on is something that will be truly unforgettable”

Speaking about the decision to launch the rallies, he adds: “Not everyone can take 16 months off to sail around the world, but that doesn’t mean they should miss out on the experience. These rallies offer shorter, fully supported adventures. It’s a way to enjoy the freedom, challenge and community of bluewater sailing without the long-term commitment. It’s bluewater adventure, reimagined for modern life.

“When you’re part of the rally or an Oyster Explorers Club adventure, you’re not just something powerful about sailing alongside other owners, sharing the challenges and triumphs of each passage and discovering new places together. It fosters camaraderie that goes beyond friendship.”
