The team at Damen Yachting successfully showcased their portfolio at the Palm Beach International Boat Show between March 23 and 26.
Damen welcomed visitors and showcased the Damen Yachting portfolio with a series of detailed scale models. Represented by the models were examples of the Dutch superyacht builder’s renowned Amels superyachts, the award-winning SeaXplorer explorer yachts and the Yacht Support Vessel range.
For the Amels range the focus was on the two latest Amels Limited Editions designs – the Amels 60 and the Amels 80 both of which feature exterior design by Espen Øino – and which have seen great success since their introduction to the market, with six Amels 60s having been sold since 2019 and two Amels 80s selling since the introduction in spring 2022.
The recent launch of the SeaXplorer 58 has generated heightened interest in the SeaXplorer series with the SeaXplorer 60 being the design focused on for this year’s show. In addition, the YS53 from the yacht support range – a range that remains a very popular choice amongst the American market – represented the Damen Yachting support yacht series.
An inspirational platform for diversity
Damen Yachting hosted the Palm Beach Edition of their annual Women in Yachting events. Introduced back in 2019 by Damen Yachting, this US edition of Women in Yachting follows up on previous events held around the world, bringing together leading females in the industry. With its three core values of ownership, inspiration and diversity, Women in Yachting provides a platform where experiences can be shared and stereotypes are broken down.
