NEOM’s prestigious development, Sindalah, the Red Sea’s first superyacht destination, teams up with BWA Yachting and IGY Marinas to offer a one-of-a-kind superyacht luxury lifestyle.
Sindalah, the eagerly awaited luxury island development in the Red Sea, has unveiled major partnerships with industry leaders BWA Yachting and IGY Marinas. These collaborations represent a significant milestone as Sindalah positions itself as the ultimate superyacht destination in the Red Sea by 2024.
Situated off the northwest coast of Saudi Arabia, Sindalah emerges from the pristine waters of the Red Sea, offering a unique and exquisite luxury eco-experience. As the first of NEOM’s 39 islands to be unveiled, Sindalah combines world-class design with the beauty of nature, showcasing NEOM’s vision for the future of civilisation. The island promises an idyllic luxury lifestyle and will house a world-leading yachting ecosystem, boasting more than 5,000 berths.
IGY Marinas will develop and operate the prestigious marina at Sindalah, which will join IGY’s international superyacht marina network of 23 marinas across 12 countries – the only network of its kind in the world – as well as their exclusive superyacht membership programme, IGY Trident. Meanwhile, BWA Yachting team will provide comprehensive services to superyacht owners, captains, managers and crews, covering everything from customs and clearance procedures to logistics, shipping, concierge and financial services. BWA Yachting will also assist NEOM in planning and organising exclusive events as part of a curated social calendar for the superyacht community.
“Sindalah will redefine the luxury island experience and become the most sought-after yachting destination in the world, offering six months of winter sun and less than a day’s sail from the ports of the Mediterranean,” said Antoni Vives, Chief Urban Development and Islands Officer at NEOM.
Opening in early 2024, Sindalah will serve as a glamorous gateway to the wonders of the Red Sea, captivating luxury travellers from around the world. The ultra-prime marina boasts 86 berths for yachts up to 50 metres, alongside serviced offshore buoys for superyachts up to 180 metres. On land, Sindalah will be home to restaurants managed by Michelin-starred chefs, futuristic designer fashion and luxury retail, as well as an extraordinary golf course.
Leisure seekers will be delighted by Sindalah’s exceptional beach club, hosted by top entertainment icons in the region. The Marine Activities Center will provide thrilling adventures, allowing guests to explore the mesmerising marine life beneath the surface of the Red Sea. Accommodation options include three luxury hotels, including a Four Seasons Resort and Saudi Arabia’s first Marriott International Autograph Collection Hotels property, ensuring exquisite experiences.
Sustainability is a core focus in Sindalah’s development, with a strong commitment to preserving the diverse marine environment. The island’s design, led by Italy’s Luca Dini Design & Architecture, takes inspiration from the surrounding coral reefs and waterscapes of the Red Sea.
With six months of winter sun a year, Sindalah is set to become a new destination on the yachting calendar and a must-visit paradise for discerning travellers seeking a truly extraordinary experience on the seas.
