After the success of the inaugural edition last year, the 2024 Concorso d’Eleganza Varignana 1705 is set to showcase another superlative collection of groundbreaking automobiles.
30 examples of the world’s finest pre-1973 automotive icons will be presented in six classes. All owned by celebrated collectors, the cars will be on display at the luxury Palazzo di Varignana resort, in Italy’s Motor Valley, from September 27-29.
The exquisite ensemble will include the Alfa Romeo Tipo 6C 1750; Lamborghini Miura Prototype; Isotta Fraschini 8C Monterosa Touring; Benz ‘Jadewagen’ 8/20 PS; Fiat 1100 Ghia; Maserati 3500 Vignale Spyder and many more.
The organisers have established a special class – FuoriConcorso – in one car’s honour: the venerable Auto Avio Costruzioni 815, arguably the ‘first’ Ferrari in all but name
Esteemed aficionados Corrado Lopresto and Silvia Nicolis from Italy, Georg Gebhard from Germany, Hidetomo Kimura from Japan and others will join style and fashion leader Alessandro Squarzi with iconic cars from their collections.
Endorsed by the Motor Valley Association and Automotoclub Storico Italiano, the event will ensure a weekend of unsurpassed automotive splendour.
