BREITLING’S AVENGER COLLECTION TAKES FLIGHT

Redesigned for the skies, Breitling’s Avenger watches get a stunning makeover, offering the perfect blend of cutting-edge technology and a robust, sleek aesthetic.

Breitling, renowned for its commitment to airborne adventure and precision engineering, has soared to new heights with the reimagined Avenger Collection. For more than two decades, the Avenger series has been a trusted companion for jet pilots, designed to endure the most extreme cockpit conditions. Now, Breitling introduces a newly redesigned range that merges uncompromising functionality with a striking look, catering not only to aviation enthusiasts but also to those with a penchant for bold design and exceptional resilience.

Breitling’s deep-seated connection with flying dates back to the 1930s when Willy Breitling formed the HUIT Aviation Department, pioneering precision aircraft instruments and pilots’ chronographs. This heritage in military aviation has led to the creation of iconic timepieces, such as the Navitimer, the AVI CoPilot, the Aerospace, the Emergency and the Avenger, highlighting Breitling’s impressive and enduring link to aviation unlike any other watch brands.

“The Avenger was created to stand up to the relentless conditions of a jet cockpit and to support pilots in demanding aerial manoeuvres. Its redesign demanded nothing less,” said Breitling CEO Georges Kern. “This collection pairs all the performance with sophisticated modern aviation style.”

The newly released Avenger range comes in three formats: a 44mm chronograph, a 44mm automatic GMT and a 42mm automatic. Each model offers exceptional water resistance of up to 300 meters and offers a choice of a military leather strap with a folding pin buckle or a three-row stainless-steel bracelet with a micro-adjustable folding clasp. These timepieces offer easy-grip functionality and corrosion-resistant construction, featuring carbon fibre, titanium and steel, designed to be light and tough, just like the aircraft they accompany.

Avenger B01 Chronograph 44 and Night Mission

At the heart of the Avenger chronograph lies the Breitling Manufacture Caliber 01, a COSC-certified chronometer that provides approximately 70 hours of power and a five-year warranty. The core models feature open sapphire-crystal caseback and vibrant coloured dials in blue, green, black or sand tones, complemented by a stainless-steel rotating 60-minute bezel. Baton indexes streamline the dial, emphasising the red-tipped chrono hand. Noteworthy are the grip-patterned crown and bezel, alongside the new square pushers designed for seamless timekeeping operations.

For those seeking an even bolder look, the Avenger Night Mission chronograph, with its vibrant yellow or carbon black dial, showcases a case and bezel crafted entirely from scratch-resistant ceramic. Meanwhile, its caseback, crown, pushers and buckle are crafted in solid titanium, offering unparalleled strength-to-weight ratio of any metal. The dial numerals, especially on the black dial crafted from resilient carbon fibre, ensures superior legibility.

Avenger Automatic GMT 44

Ideal for pilots and frequent flyers alike, the Avenger Automatic GMT features a red GMT hand along a 24-hour rotating bezel for easy Zulu time reading. Sharing the same diameter as the chronograph, this model boasts a more compact profile. Encased in steel, the Automatic GMT is available in black or naval-blue dials, paired with a military leather strap or a three-row stainless-steel bracelet. Powering this model is the COSC-certified Breitling Calibre 32, providing an approximate 42-hour reserve and backed by a two-year warranty.

Avenger Automatic 42

This well-balanced timepiece embodies robustness in a sleeker 42mm diameter. Constructed in steel, this model offers a choice of black, naval-blue or camo-green dials, paired with a matching military leather strap or a three-row stainless-steel bracelet. Its engine, the COSC-certified Breitling Calibre 17 automatic three-hand movement, delivers up to 38 hours of power and comes with a two-year warranty.
